About Communion What's it about? On the eve of his suffering on the cross, Jesus was sharing the traditional Jewish Passover meal with his disciples, when he did a new thing. He took some bread, blessed it, and said, "Take, eat, this is my body." The same with the Passover cup, saying "Drink from it, all of you; this is my blood." Then he said, "do this, in remembrance of me." In taking Communion, Christians share, at the deepest level, fellowship with their Lord and with one another, remembering the death that bought them life and peace with God. All believers are welcome to participate. We usually celebrate communion at the end of the morning service on the first Sunday of every month.
